These replacement knives for the DeWalt 735 Planer are made of high speed steel and will outlast the original blades that came with your machine. Since our knives are thicker than the original ones that came with the machine, our steel can lasts up to 4x longer - even in tough or abrasive materials. Forged from a premium grade of high-chromium steel, these knives are produced for us by the famed Bohler steel mill in Austria in the same location where the company was founded in 1446. This type of steel's extreme resistance to abrasion and wear make it the ideal material for woodworking. These knives have two ground edges and measure 13" x 7/8" x 5/64". Three knives are included in the set.
